The Synopsis
The synopsis of Revelations follows the final chapter of the Bible - Revelation. It deatils the "end days" of humanity, the final battle between good and evil (Heaven and Hell), and the second coming of Christ.
The Narrator acts as the voice of God, and the lead singers recite the majority of the piece.
We hear of the letter to the seven church, then see the four animals of Heaven and hear their song. The seven scrolls and and the seven seals are opened. The four angels stand at the corners of the earth and sing of salvation. They sound their trumpets and the seven plagues ascend onto the earth. Those who have believed throughout the torment worship and sing.
The beasts rise from the earth and begin to wreak havok on those who remain. But the Lamb Of God protects the believers. The Seven Bowls of God's wrath are poured out over the earth and the city of Babylon falls.
With the final stronghold of evil fallen, the final battel ensures, and Satan is thrown into a pit of fire, enver to return.
Finally, an invitation is extended to the audience to come to the river of life - eternal life.
While religious in content, Revelations boasts modern music and a powerful message, not only for those who are believers, but for the uninitiated also.
